What is HostConsole?

HostConsole is a self-hosted Windows hosting control panel. It turns a Windows Server VPS into a complete hosting platform — IIS websites and app pools, DNS, one-click SSL, email with webmail, SQL Server and MySQL databases, resellers, billing and support — all from one interface.

Is HostConsole an alternative to Plesk for Windows?

Yes. It covers the same day-to-day hosting work on Windows Server — websites, DNS, SSL, mail, databases, PHP versions, FTP, backups and resellers — and includes a Bulk Migration tool that moves whole Plesk-on-Windows servers across, including files, MSSQL databases and mail.

Does it issue free SSL certificates?

Yes. One click issues a Let’s Encrypt certificate using HTTP-01, or DNS-01 for a wildcard that also covers www, webmail and mail. Certificates auto-renew, and HSTS and HTTP→HTTPS redirects can be switched on per site.

Which runtimes and databases are supported?

Sites can run .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 8, PHP (several versions, chosen per site) or static content. Databases can be created in SQL Server or MySQL, with users and connection details per domain.

Can I sell hosting through resellers?

Yes, in the Pro edition. HostConsole has a full admin → reseller → customer hierarchy, packages whose limits are enforced at runtime, plus built-in billing, invoices and a support desk.

What are the HostConsole editions?

Starter covers core hosting with limited domains, Basic adds packages and more domains, and Pro adds resellers, Bulk Migration and unlimited domains. Licence keys are ECDSA-signed and bound to the server.

Which languages does the panel support?

The whole panel is translated into seven languages — English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Arabic (with right-to-left layout) and Chinese — and more can be added.
