Do you have an office in Shillong?
No. Sysfo's offices are in Lucknow and Mumbai in India, and in Belgium; we have no office in Shillong or elsewhere in Meghalaya. We work with Shillong clients remotely: an online demo, video calls, remote setup and training, and support by phone, email and WhatsApp. This also saves you travel when roads are affected by the weather.
Will the member app work on slow mobile data?
That is a design goal for every Meghalaya project. We keep screens light, compress images, can add caching of recent data, and test on slow connections. If members prefer not to install an app, an installable web app runs from the browser. No app can work with no signal at all, but ours copes much better with weak signals than a heavy desktop-style panel.
Can the software use Khasi or Garo?
English is the standard language, and it suits many members because English is widely used in Meghalaya. As a customisation we can translate key member screens, notices and message templates into Khasi or Garo. Your team supplies or approves the wording so plan terms are explained correctly.
Is MLM legal in Meghalaya?
Across India, direct selling must follow the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, and pyramid or money-circulation schemes are banned, including under the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978. Meghalaya's autonomous district councils also have their own rules on trading, so take local advice.
