Self-Hosted Webmail Client: MailFlow Brings a Modern Inbox to Your Existing Mail Server
Your mail server probably works fine. The problem is what users see when they log in. Many hosting panels still ship webmail that looks like it was designed fifteen years ago. Users complain, forward everything to a personal Gmail account, and your business email loses the professional edge it was meant to give. A self-hosted webmail client lets you replace that dated interface without touching the mail server underneath. MailFlow, from Sysfo Software Solutions, is a Gmail-style webmail client for the mail server you already run. There is no migration and no new mailboxes.

What MailFlow is (and isn't)
MailFlow is a front end. It connects to any standards-compliant IMAP, POP3 and SMTP server and shows mail in a fast, modern interface. It is not a new mail server, so your mailboxes, DNS records and deliverability stay exactly where they are.
One important design choice: MailFlow stores zero emails in its own database. Mail is streamed live from your server and never copied. The database holds only settings.
Who it is built for
- Hosting providers and resellers who want to replace panel webmail and white-label it for each client domain
- Businesses that want full data ownership and an inbox their staff can use without training
- IT teams running mail on cPanel, Plesk, Exchange (IMAP), hMailServer or Linux mail stacks
Features users notice
Real-time inbox. New mail appears instantly through IMAP IDLE, with optional desktop notifications.
Familiar three-pane layout. Folders with drag-and-drop, bulk actions (read, star, archive, spam, move, delete), server-side and advanced search, pop-out windows and a quota meter.
Safe reading. HTML mail is sanitised and sandboxed, and remote trackers are blocked. Attachments can be previewed or downloaded, and you can view headers or save a message as .eml.
A proper composer. Rich text, signatures, templates, schedule send, priority flags, read receipts, clean reply quoting and recipient autocomplete.
Address book. Searchable contacts with one-click compose.
Themes and mobile. Light, Dark and Glass themes saved per user, a responsive layout for phones and tablets, and keyboard shortcuts.
18 interface languages, including 9 Indian languages.
Features admins love
Per-domain branding. Each client domain gets its own name, logo, colours and support email from one installation. That is true white-label webmail.
User and session control. Promote admins, disable accounts and sign users out across devices. Users can connect multiple mailboxes.
Three-step setup wizard. Users enter their email address, MailFlow auto-detects hosts, ports and encryption, then runs a live connection test before saving.
