What slows travel businesses down

Six problems that cost travel companies bookings and margin.

Travellers compare prices in seconds and expect an answer in minutes. Most agencies and tour operators still quote by hand, chase leads on WhatsApp and pay commission on bookings they could have taken directly.

01

Quotes that take hours to build

Every itinerary is copied from an old Word file, priced in Excel and emailed — while the traveller books elsewhere.

02

Leads lost across phones and inboxes

Enquiries arrive by call, website, Instagram and WhatsApp, with no owner and no follow-up date on any of them.

03

OTA commissions on your own customers

Repeat guests and travellers book through third-party portals because your own website cannot take a booking.

04

Supplier systems that don't connect

Flights, hotels, transfers and sightseeing sit in separate supplier portals, re-keyed into your own records by hand.

05

Rates and margins hard to control

Seasonal rates, blackout dates, agent markups and currency changes are tracked in spreadsheets that are always out of date.

06

Accounts that trail the bookings

GST on packages, TCS on overseas tours, supplier payments and agent settlements reconciled weeks after travel.

Travel software we build

Software for travel agencies, tour operators and hospitality brands.

Most travel technology here is built to order around your products, suppliers and sales channels, and connected to Sysfo's ready business software for enquiries, proposals and billing.

B2B Agent Portal

Sub-agents log in, search your inventory, see their net rates and markups, book against a wallet or credit limit.

Booking engine and direct sales

A booking engine that turns your website into your best sales channel.

We build fast, mobile-first booking websites where travellers can search your packages, hotels or activities, see real availability and pay online — with instant confirmation and vouchers. Behind it sits a rate and inventory module that handles seasonal pricing, allotments, blackout dates and promotions, so every channel sells from the same numbers.

  • Search and filters by destination, dates, budget and theme
  • Seasonal rates, allotments, child policies and promo codes
  • Online payment, part payment and payment links
  • Instant confirmation, e-vouchers and booking emails

GDS, supplier and payment integrations

Live flights, hotels and activities from the suppliers you already use.

Most travel businesses already hold contracts with a GDS, a hotel bed bank or local suppliers. We integrate the APIs you have access to — searching, pricing, holding and booking through one interface — and add payment gateways, SMS, email and WhatsApp. Responses are cached and logged, so pages stay quick and every booking can be traced end to end.

  • GDS, bed bank and aggregator APIs under your own credentials
  • Search, price, hold, book and cancel flows with error handling
  • Payment gateway, UPI, SMS, email and WhatsApp integration
  • Request logs, caching and supplier reconciliation reports

Travel enquiry management

Every holiday enquiry owned, followed up and measured.

Walk-ins, calls, website forms and campaign leads land in one list, each assigned to a travel consultant with a callback date. Consultants reply from ready Email and WhatsApp templates, and managers see which source and which consultant converts. It runs on Sysfo's Enquiry Management System, so you can start in days rather than months.

  • Leads from website, phone, walk-in and campaigns
  • A consultant and a callback date on every enquiry
  • Email and WhatsApp templates for quick replies
  • Source-wise and consultant-wise conversion reports

Quotations and itineraries

Send a polished, priced itinerary while the traveller is still interested.

Build day-wise itineraries from a library of reusable hotel, sightseeing, transfer and inclusion pages, apply your theme, add line items with discount and GST, and send for online acceptance. Sysfo's Proposal Management Software tracks every quote through a pipeline with validity dates, so you know which proposals need a nudge and what your win rate is.

  • Reusable pages for hotels, sightseeing and inclusions
  • Line items with discount, GST and validity date
  • Branded themes and online acceptance
  • Pipeline and win-rate reports by consultant

Traveller apps and B2B agent portals

Keep travellers informed and give partner agents their own portal.

A traveller app puts bookings, vouchers, tickets, the day-by-day plan and emergency contacts in one place, with trip updates by push notification. For B2B distribution, an agent portal lets sub-agents search your inventory at net rates, apply their own markup and book against a wallet or credit limit, while you see every agent's sales and outstanding balance.

How we build travel platforms

From your first booking flow to a full travel platform in five steps.

We release in stages, so you start taking enquiries and bookings early and add integrations once the basics earn their keep.

  1. 1

    Discovery call

    free

We learn your products, markets, suppliers and sales channels, and tell you honestly what to build, what to buy and what to skip.

  2. 2

    Scope & supplier review

    1–2 weeks

Booking flows, supplier API documentation, payment and compliance needs written up into a fixed, itemised scope and quote.

  3. 3

    Design & build

    6–12 weeks

Clickable designs first, then short sprints with weekly demos: website, booking engine, admin console and integrations.

  4. 4

    Test & certify

    1–2 weeks

End-to-end booking tests in supplier sandboxes, payment tests, speed and security checks before going live.

  5. 5

    Launch & grow

    ongoing

Go-live, monitoring and support, then the next release — agent portal, app or new suppliers — on your timeline.

FAQ

Travel & Hospitality Software — frequently asked questions

What is travel & hospitality software?

Travel & hospitality software covers the systems a travel business runs on: a booking engine on the website, rate and inventory management, supplier and GDS integrations, a B2B agent portal, enquiry and itinerary tools, invoicing and settlements, and traveller apps. Sysfo builds the booking side to order and connects it to its ready enquiry, proposal and billing software.

How much does a travel booking engine cost?

It depends on what you sell, how many suppliers you integrate, whether you need a B2B agent portal or mobile apps, and how much is custom design. After a discovery call and a look at your supplier API documents, Sysfo gives a fixed, itemised quote, often split into phases so you can launch sooner.

Can you integrate Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport or hotel bed banks?

Yes, where you hold API access. GDS providers, airline consolidators and hotel bed banks issue API credentials to travel businesses under their own commercial terms. Once you have access, we build the search, pricing, booking and cancellation flows, test them in the supplier's sandbox and move them to production.

Do you have a ready-made travel portal product?

No. We do not sell a white-label travel portal. Booking engines and agent portals are built around your products and suppliers, so you own the source code and are not tied to someone else's roadmap. For the back office, we use Sysfo's ready enquiry, proposal, billing and helpdesk products to save time and cost.

How long does it take to launch a booking website?

A booking website for your own packages or hotels with online payments typically takes eight to fourteen weeks for a first release. Each supplier integration adds time depending on the API, and B2B portals or mobile apps are usually delivered in a later phase. The timeline is fixed in the written scope.

Can the software handle GST and TCS on tour packages?

Yes. Invoices carry the GST treatment your accountant specifies for packages, hotel bookings and service fees, and the system can record TCS on overseas tour packages and the traveller's PAN. Reports are prepared so your chartered accountant can file returns without re-keying bookings.

Will our travel & hospitality software work on mobile?

Yes. Most travellers search and book on a phone, so every booking website we build is mobile-first and tested on common Android and iPhone screens. Where it pays off, we add native Android and iOS apps for travellers or agents, sharing the same back end as the website.

Who owns the code, the data and the customer list?

You do. For custom development, the source code is yours once the project is paid for, and the booking, customer and agent data always belongs to your business. You can host on our servers or on your own cloud account, and we sign an NDA on request before discovery.

Do you support the platform after launch?

Yes. We offer monthly support plans with monitoring, agreed response times, backups and updates, and we handle supplier API changes as they come. Many travel clients also keep a small dedicated team with us to add features, suppliers and destinations to their travel & hospitality software every season.
